18 of 26. STAINED GLASS - Stained glass originated in the 12th & 13th centuries. The beauty of their transparency lies in its capacity to interpret and express a profound message that will vary according to the exterior light quality, weather, and seasons. The windows of St. Mary Catholic Church include all of the liturgical colors; white, violet, green, and rose. The design creates an image of the living waters of baptism and the fire of the Holy Spirit.
